My work explores the deep connection we have with the spaces that nurture us like our homes, the quiet corners of comfort, and places where we find sustenance.
Drawing from memories of living rooms, dining areas, and food markets, I create raw, personal environments that reflect my inner landscape. These spaces are often tied to my loved ones and the connections that shape my life, and through them, I also explore themes of consumption, the environment, and our relationship to material items.
I’m especially curious about women’s relationships with their spaces and “women’s work,” and my paintings honor the sacred environments where softness and feminism thrive. Through these works, I celebrate the labor, care, and energy that sustain and elevate these often-overlooked spaces.
